A Little Thing

Samantha had her first asparagus pee.

  1. I'm just impressed that she ate asparagus. My kids won't go near that or almost any other green vegetable.

  2. We eat asparagus about once a week and put some on her plate each time. Up until the other night, she'd just have a tiny bit, always drowned in mayo. This time she decided she loved it and couldn't get enough. It was nice to see that "keep offering it" principle worked!

  3. We love asparagus, but oddly, I just found out yesterday that not everyone can smell its effect!

And who knew the topic was so widely discussed?

  5. No wonder I've always wondered what asparagus pee smells like! At least now I know not to bother sniffing other people's pee. (I was much tempted, I must admit!)

  6. Wow, I forgot a rather critical "NOT" in the final sentence of my comment. I was NOT tempted to sniff other people's pee.

*sigh* Now that I seem like a total freak, I'm going to bed. No pee sniffing for me!

  7. I would have been tempted if I was a non-smeller of it. I guess I am a freak. :)

  8. And I was admiring Diana for her dedication to scientific experimentation. Freak here, too.

  9. Okay fine, I admit the thought has crossed my mind, as I am freakishly curious sometimes. However, I wouldn't say that I was "much tempted," just "mildly tempted." (I think Paul can smell it, so I had plenty of opportunity for pee-sniffing post-asparagus.)
