Quotes

After lathering up her hands with a lot of white, bubbly shampoo:

MOMMY, LOOK!  I HAVE GLOVES JUST LIKE SANTA CLAUS!

Talking about climbing the bookcases, which she knows is dangerous:

MOMMY, IF I CLIMBED THAT, I'D FALL DOWN AND HURT MY EYE, AND I CAN'T GET A NEW ONE SO I'D JUST HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT.

She's been mumbling a lot lately and she makes me giggle with her response to my query of "What did you say, Sammy?"

I WAS JUST TALKING WITH MYSELF, MOMMY.

    I love that one!

  2. I wondered if your telling Sammy about your eye resulted in her response to hurting her eye?

  3. Mom, did I tell her about my eye? I don't remember. I have no idea why she picked her eye as the place she would hurt. When I told her about the dangers of climbing the bookcases, I think I told her that she could hurt her leg or her head or her arm, and she started naming off other body parts. I guess her eye is the one that stuck!
